BEST EVER Mar 25, 2010 OMG, I loves this mini light. The door knob is obscured of light when you trying to put the key in, espcially at night, even with the porch light on. This light, ON the key, makes it really easy to see the knob and where to key is going.
My husband thought it was a silly novelty and it will fade with time and the thing stuck to the key will just upset me.
I LOVE IT, thanks for the key light.
Pretty Cool Jan 17, 2010 actually a pretty cool little device gave it to my mom and grandmother. they love it very handy little device, i wold recommend

light is red Dec 09, 2009 This gives off a dull red light, it really will only illuminate the one inch space in front of key. Although as others have pointed out only one hand is needed. I will keep this on my key but be looking for a second keychain lite that is a bit brighter.

Smallest key light, works great! Oct 18, 2009 This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a very dark entryway, and if I forget to turn on the outside lights before I leave, I return to a pitchblack doorway. I have bought small flashlights before, but they are a little cumbersome on the keychain, and you have to hold the flashlight in one hand, point it at the keyhole, and hold the key in your other hand - a little clumsy when you are also carrying your drycleaning or groceries.
This item is a very small light that has double-sided tape on it. You actually stick it onto your key. It's only about 1/4" thick. Then, when you need it, you squeeze it, and the light is directed right at the keyhole.
It's really great - but I think it would not work well on a curved-surface type key, like most car keys are nowadays. Works very well with normal house keys.

Small in size, large in utility Mar 04, 2009 I bought eight of these lights. I've attached two to keys of my own and have given four to my relatives. Everyone agrees, the Nanolite is a great little device. I put one on my mailbox key, because I am frequently opening the box at night. It provides more than enough light so that I can place the key easily into the lock. My other Nanolite is on my front door key, another lock I am frequently opening in low light conditions. No longer do I need to fumble while trying to fit the key into the lock. The only con is the increase in thickness of the key when the Nanolite is attached. You would not want to put one of these on all your keys. But for the select keys that you use at night or might routinely be in low light conditions, the Nanolite is the answer.
